'The Essex' - A great place to race
All T2 Events Duathlon's are being held at the Essex Golf and Country club, Earles Colne, Essex.
There are usually 2 races held on race day, a 10k run/40k bike/5k run and a Sprint race 5k run/ 20k bike /2.5k run.
The Essex has all the facilities you would expect to find including a Hotel (Where you can stay at discounted rate prior to racing) conference rooms, dry and wetside changing, bar, café and nursery.
It is only two miles from the A120 and six miles from the A12 Marks Tey exit. Journey time from the M25 is approximately 45 minutes.
The Essex is situated next to Earls Colne airfield and is on a 4 km loop that circles an airfield. The roads around the club are just open for access and consist of long straight traffic free straights on good quality fast, road surfaces.
